Dear City Council Members,
We moved to Slo County 25 years ago when we retired. We worked as an electrician and real estate appraiser for over
35 years each.
We both worked and saved for our retirement to Avila Beach.
We would love to stay here but the reality of staying in our own home is not something we can handle as we age. The
Villiaggo is a fabulous Plan for older citizens. It enables couples to live on the same “campus” and never be separated by
miles and distance. All care, other than acute medical care, is provided. What a God send!!!
There are all size accommodations available at various costs to provide this life style for most people. Like most
homeowners, our home has appreciated substantially and that increase in value will allow us to move to Villaggio. More
delays will require us to leave this area as we continue to age and our abilities become more limited.
Please, Please move this Plan forward and not delay it any further. SLO has nothing like this and it is very much needed.
