Subject: 1446 Nipomo tree removal application
Good Morning Ron Combs,
I am a long time resident of Slo and I have enjoyed living downtown for many years. I was shocked to see the application
for removing the large beautiful Eucalyptus tree at 1446 Nipomo a few days ago on my daily walk. It seems to be a
healthy tree that doesn’t appear to pose a threat to anyone or anything.
I believe it is our duty to preserve trees that add beauty, character and help the environment in quantifiable ways. This is
a beautiful healthy tree that has clearly been growing for many years.
The tree at 1446 Nipomo is an integral part of our neighborhood landscape and adds a natural beauty simply by living. It
is my request that the city leave the tree and continue to preserve our downtown neighborhood’s charm and beauty.
Thank you for your consideration,
Nancy Walsh
