Subject:Active Transportation Plan
Dear City Council members,
Thanks for all you’ve been doing to keep SLO moving in a positive direction during this incredibly challenging
year. Even under the pressure of the pandemic, you have taken steps to move us significantly closer to
our climate action and other major city goals. As we plan for better times, I hope you'll continue the momentum
by supporting the Active Transportation Plan.
Active transportation is a critical component of the city’s climate, vision zero and mode shift goals, and I
was encouraged to see unanimous support for the ATP from the Active Transportation Committee. Please
pass the plan without major revisions so that we can stay on track with those goals.
