Subject:December 8 Council Meeting - Dana Street Parking
As residents of Dana Street (#547), we are writing in support of the extending the parking district for
multi-family properties, to be discussed at the December 8 City Council meeting.
We support including Dana Street Multi-family Properties in the Dana Street Parking District
This issue has been ongoing for some time. While we appreciate that much is challenging in
the time of COVID, we do request that completing the Dana Street Parking District be given
priority.
It is also of note that the two-hour overlay does not seem to be working, perhaps because it is
not monitored currently. If the two-hour overlay cannot be enforced, it should be
removed. Otherwise, we are paying for permits but others are parking for free for as long as
they wish.
