Dear Mayor and Council Members,
I am writing to express my support for Resolution 11117 agenda item 19. These are such challenging times for all of us.
And I can only speak to my experience as the owner of a small local business that is located outside of the designated
Downtown District. Businesses such as ours need your help. We hope that some of the funds will be allocated to help
and support businesses such as ours. Our business, SLO Provisions has been opened for over 5 years and has become a
special part of the community. We have always been there when asked to help whether it was to donate a gift card for
a non-profit’s raffle or to donate portions of our sales to local schools, we almost always said “yes” And now we’re
asking you to say “yes” to helping us and businesses like ours. A good first step would be to move this resolution
forward.
