Subject:Bike plan for SLO
Dear City Council and Planning Commission,
Below is a form letter—which saves me from typing it all myself. I truly do support this plan, and ask it be implemented,
especially the South Higuera portion. With the new housing development off Prado, full of young families, this busy road
needs to be improved to make biking to services and to school safe.
Please make this happen!
I am writing to express my support for the Active Transportation Plan as unanimously recommended by the Active
Transportation Committee. I support the list of Tier 1 projects and protected bike lanes throughout San Luis Obispo.
These projects will encourage more ridership and are crucial to meeting our climate action, mode shift, vision zero,
equity, diversity, and inclusivity goals.
I urge you to support the Active Transportation Plan as recommended by the Active Transportation Committee without
