Subject:Comment on Item 17 - DANA STREET PARKING DISTRICT
Hello there,
My name is Gil Braga and I reside at 421 Dana st. I fully support including Dana street multi-family properties in the Dana
Street Parking District. I understand that there are other pressing issues that the city council has to deal with at this
moment but I'd like to remind you all that some of our neighbors have been working on this topic for quite a while now.
As we get closer and closer to a vaccine being available to all it is everyone's hope that soon enough we will have again
more visitors downtown SLO, we will have the return of our beautiful Farmer's Market and other events. Once this
happens, we, who reside in multi-family homes will be left with almost no option for parking as the spaces designated
for two-hour parking will not be enough. We would like to have, like any other resident of our street, the opportunity to
purchase parking permits so that we can use the spaces available close to our residences.
