Subject:Preserve Open Space
Hi.
This is my second email to you today, on a different subject.
Please prioritize saving open space in SLO! I realize that you have limited options for saying no to new developments, but
what if you started buying up as many chunks of land as possible and designating them as preserved open space or
parks/hiking areas? That way they would be off the table for developers.
I believe that this should be a priority for SLO as the open space here is one of the things that makes this city special. I
am pro affordable housing also, but there are a lot of ways to add housing without sacrificing open space. Once open
space is developed there is no going back.
