Subject:City open space/natural reserves support
Dear Honorable City Council,
For your meeting today, January 14, I wish to make this statement:
I encourage very high ranking for the protection and acquisition of greenbelt open space.
Do all possible to expand and completed the greenbelt.
Do all possible, and timely, to improve the convenience, safety, and connectivity with the developed city area to open
space access locations. This condition is necessary for improvements in the near future. Some current locations, e.g.,
access for San Luis Mountain near US101 highway, is in very poor condition, creating safety issues.
I also ask that you provide better access and storage facilities for non-motorists, such as bicyclists, at these locations.
