My name is Leslie Baumberger and I have been a resident of San Luis Obispo for 66 years.
I have known members of the Zepeda Family for the past 35 years. They have grown up here in San Luis Obispo and are
now raising their own families here on the Central Coast. They are hard working, community minded people and we are
lucky they live here in our City.
Their new business is one of many family owned businesses that makes our county great and they are asking the council
for help and consideration.
We are asking the council to please consider tiered rates for fees based on businesses square footage.
It’s a financial hardship to pay expensive permit fees for a small , family owned business, especially when the business
space in only 400 square feet. Please consider that the licensing fee be connected to the business size and allow these
small family owned businesses to continue to thrive.
