Subject:Mitchell Park pickleball courts
Dear council members:
I have been an avid pickleball player for seven years. It is a terrific exercise and a social event. All ages can play and
everyone is welcomed on the courts.
Prior to the French Park courts which were completed in the fall of 2019, I would travel to Morro Bay to play. After
playing, I would stay in Morro Bay for lunch and shopping.
Because of its popularity, the courts at French Park have become impacted and the wait quite lengthy, sometimes 15 to
20 minutes. I support the addition of two courts at Mitchell Park. They definitely will be used and alleviate the crowds
at French Park.
I enjoy staying in San Luis Obispo to play pickleball and staying in town to support my community.
