Subject:Pickleball courts
As part of the SLO pickleball community, we can definitely use more courts and Mitchell Park is a great location. The
courts at French have brought us together as a community and we have met many friends through it. We are often at
the French courts enjoying game time, and it is also an amazing social outlet. The age range of players since we first
started playing a year ago has gone from mostly seniors to all ages. We love seeing that. It is definitely a game that
brings community members of all ages together. I’m not sure what we were doing before we started playing? Just
kidding! But in all seriousness, pickleball is a great game that offers physical activity, a social outlet, and some wonderful
fresh outdoor air!
