Subject:Mitchell Park SLO - Pickleball Courts
To whom it may concern,
I am interested in the proposal for new pickleball courts to be built at Mitchell Park in San Luis Obispo. I am a pickler. In
the past few months, I have seen pickleball not only bring my family together, but I have seen it break social barriers
within our community. Pickleball brings people together.
Mitchell Park would be a great location due to the central qualities it offers. Located in the heart of a residential area
and only a few short blocks from downtown, this location would bring several types of picklers together. My boyfriend
and I live on Morro street, very close by. We would love to have a court of so much community building possibility
within walking distance of us.
Please consider these benefits of building pickleball courts in our neighborhood, thank you for your time.
