Subject:Mitchell Park pickleball
Dear Council,
We own a fourplex on Osos Street, across the street from Mitchell Park and we are very supportive of adding pickleball
courts at this location. We also own a home in French Park and we have seen what pickleball courts have done for that
neighborhood, bringing out countless families and young people from that neighborhood and beyond. I think pickleball
courts could revitalize Mitchell Park, and we all know that could be a good thing. Currently the condition of this park is
bringing down home values and discouraging home ownership and rentals in this neighborhood. Revitalizing Mitchell
park by adding pickleball courts is exactly what this neighborhood needs.
