Subject:Feb 2 meeting item #11 - Mitchell park pickleball courts
Dear City Council members,
I live downtown and am fully supportive of pickleball courts in Mitchell Park.
I am an avid pb player and SLO does not have enough courts. We often have to travel out of town to find courts that
aren't as crowded. Two more courts won't solve the problem but it would be nice to get more courts.
Pickleball is a really great, fun sport for people of all ages. Pickleball players will come to this park to play if courts are
built. It might be a nice way to utilize and help revitalize this park.
Thanks to city parks & rec for putting this project forth and I urge the city to approve and participate in this project for
Mitchell Park.
