Subject:pickleball courts at Mitchell Park
Hello SLO City Council,
Thank you so much for considering pickleball courts at Mitchell Park. It would be wonderful to have not just
more courts in SLO, but some centrally located and within walking distance from several neighborhoods.
I started playing two years ago (at French Park) and was immediately hooked on the sport. It's fun, great
exercise, and a wonderful way to socialize with people (old, young and in between).
As you may already know, the courts at French Park are always busy and usually there is a waiting list. I've
heard that it's the same throughout the county.
The people who play are very responsible and respectful...I think the park would be happy to have them there.
