My name is Ashley Crabtree. I am a resident at 1106 Oceanaire Drive, in the Windermere townhomes. I have lived in
San Luis Obispo for 14 years and have lived at my currenr residence for over a year.
I heard of a proposal going before council to remove street parking from Galleon Way to Los Osos Valley Road, in order
to create a bike pathway.
I am against this proposal because it will negatively impact our townhome community and our neighboring homes.
It is common for households in our area to have multiple cars. Within our own townhome community parking is limited.
If I am unable to park in my lot and have to park more than a block away from my home, that becomes a safety concern
for me and other women in Windermere. As well as for the homeowners and renters across the street.
Please consider voting against this proposal and finding another solution that will allow for living in this neighborhood to
remain possible.
