Subject:Pickle ball at Mitchell Park - oppose
Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers,
I only just heard about this, and have three minutes to shoot off an e-mail.
I oppose pickleball courts at Mitchell for several reasons:
1 Mitchell Park has become our Speakers Corner, our Zuccotti Park, our Capitol Mall; the people need a large
enough place to gather to celebrate, voice opinions and, if necessary, protest.
2 I belive pickleball ball is being planned for Emerson park.
3:00 now; time to send this. I apologize for the short and unimaginative e-mail.
