Item #3 1321 Garden Street ( APPL-0607-2020). To Any person or additional committees that can help me, As the record will show there was a glitch in my ability to be heard during the meeting. This did not become apparent until it was time to share the concerns I have with a complete wall of windows, nine feet off the ground, looking directly into my home by this proposed building. Every attempt was made to call in and then to type in real time to bring this point to the Planning Commission. As I was typing, the builder said he was disinclined to make any changes and that was the end of that. As the letter I sent is expressed, the deciduous trees between the two property’s offer no protection. I still believe that the loss of privacy is an intrusion that will affect my health and the value of my property and still needs to be reviewed before this is finalized. The only way that I am aware of at this time is to file an appeal. This would be a financial hardship on me. Is there anything that I can do to have a chance to ask for this matter to be looked into? Are there any avenues left that can help with needed changes, so that they can build and I can be protected? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I have lived in this house for 50 years. First as a part of the Klauke Estate and now owned by me. I have seen many changes to San Luis Obispo’s growth and in 1 that time I have seen many successful compromises managed by the City. Please help me.
