Hello Council,
My name is Caroline Quill. I’m a student at Cal Poly and am currently taking a class on political participation. We are
currently working on a group project concerning state funded gun control research centers. We are in the process of
collecting signatures on our petition, so we can meet with State Senator John Laird. We are hoping to have 3 minutes at
todays’ meeting to discuss our petition and forward it to those who would be interesting in supporting and signing it.
