Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. Hi, I'd like to comment on Action Item 3 on your March 18 agenda. I encourage the ATC committee to request that the Parks and Recreation General Plan Element identify as a top priority the construction of a paved bike/pedestrian trail across Sinsheimer Park linking the Railroad Safety Trail to Southwood Avenue. This trail extension has been in the city's bike plan for many years and would provide a vital link for commuters and recreational riders. It also would provide safer, all-weather access for children and adults walking and biking to Sinsheimer Elementary School, the playground, baseball diamond and swimming pool. There are dirt paths extending across the park today, but they become muddy when it rains. The existing bridges on these paths are rickety and too narrow for my recumbent tricycle. Thanks for considering my request. Jamie Woolf 2531 Boulevard Del Campo, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 -- Jamie Woolf she/her/hers 1
