This email is to let the City Council know that I support the continuation of the extended open space winter hours of use,
item 12 on this week's agenda.
I have lived in SLO County for more than 30 years, many years as a resident of San Luis Obispo. I am an active member of
CCCMB and have participated in many, many trail work days, including work days at Irish Hills, Johnson Ranch and the
trails on the west side of the Cuesta Grade.
Many of the city's trail users are full time, working professionals. The group I mountain bike with include college
professors, emergency room physicians, educators, counselors and administrators in the public school system, small
business owners, nurses and accountants. We (and others like us) count on area trails to be accessible during the year
because we all prefer to ride after work during the week as well as on weekends.
I hope the SLO City Council considers the needs of me and hundreds of others like me who ride our beautiful Central
Coast trails throughout the year. Thank you for reading this and for considering public input on this issue.
Sincerely,
Lynne Latronica
