Review of a Tentative Tract Map (Tract 3157) to create 23 residential lots on a
4.98- acre site within the Low-Density Residential (R-1) zone. PROJECT
ADDRESS: 468/500 Westmont Avenue
From: Monique Grajeda
Dear Honorable Chair Jorgensen and Commissioners - As a resident of San Luis Obispo, I
am concerned about the proposed construction on Westmont Avenue.
The city is at a crux with overloading of developments without true knowledge of the
detrimental affect it will pose on the infrastructure, environment, crowding, pollution, and
overall social and health impacts. We do not need to suffer the negative outcomes that have
been the failure of other cities who marched forward with building projects into more and
more natural lands.
It is the responsibility and duty of our city leaders and authoritative representatives to be the
guardians of the lands and the people of these city limits. We may already be to late to
remedy the spread of this overgrowth disease.
Please those that have the authority and ability to read these letters and comments from
concerned citizens and use their power to take a stand as implied in the descriptions and
sworn oaths of their positions.
Thank you,
Monique Grajeda
