Congratulation on maneuvering the city through a very difficult time. Now we are in the upswing and changes after
Covid. It will be a difficult period to balance and renew the city.
I live on the 700 block of Palm (behind the Mission). Since the parklets went in and the intersection lights down town are
not synced Palm Street has become a thorough fare. Fast cars, running the stop signs, and lots and lots of U turns all day
long. There are also two schools on Palm with students walking between campuses and crossing to go to the Mission.
When deciding how to restart the town please consider how long term residents will be affected. The city has been
advocating for people to live downtown, now make it possible for locals to enjoy.
Thank you for your consideration.
