Good Morning City Council ! ! !
I am in receipt of the 8-02-21 letter from Parking Services - it looks like A huge mess is in the process of being made ! ! !
PLEASE do not take away The property owners right to provide the authorization of either the owner Getting the
permits or authorizing the tenant to do so. As we live at 532 Dana St. The tenant will leave, take the pass with them to
continue to park Close to town, bars, etc. when NOT living on Dana St. This creates more Problems if you just have the
tenants get the permits. ALso then anyone Can say they live on Dana St. Unless you require documentation from the
Owner - MORE PAPERWORK ! ! !
We are a unique area on Dana St - already had been thru major issues with Business parking in a residential area - too
close to downtown . Bars etc.
If you allow business to park on Dana St. - NOT GOOD - they not only park During business hours, but also on weekends
go to dinner, bars, shopping
Etc. There goes our parking down the tubes ! ! ! I have enjoyed the recent
Lack of parking on Dana St from the overflow of business , shoppers, over nighters It feels like a residential area & the
noise level is way down. We have to HEAR the Bar music from Thursday night on - THAT is enough intrusion that IS NOT
Welcome - PLEASE keep our District as it is (perhaps you could add another Permit for tenants but LESS IS MORE THESE
DAYS !!!!
