To Whom it May Concern:
This letter will register our concerns with the development project proposed at 279 Bridge Street, (ARCH-0587-2020, USE-0412-2021,
AFFH-0413-2021, EID-0494-2021).
Our primary concern with the proposed development is the loss of privacy. According to the Planning Commission Hearing Notice, the
proposed condominiums would be granted a “waiver from the edge Condition standards for the orientation of balconies and window
placement on the second and third floors of the building sides facing adjacent properties located in the Medium-Density (R-2) zone”.
This configuration would result in the residents in the proposed development having a full view into back yards of all of residents on
Exposition Court, greatly compromising our privacy. These back yards would now be in full view of the windows and balconies from the
proposed property. Additionally, the residents of the proposed property would generate noise, smoke from barbecues and dog barking
from their balconies and open windows.
The proposed property would also result in a potential increase in vehicle noise, exhaust fumes, and garage noise. This would occur
regularly as the residents accessed their homes, garages and parking places with their vehicles.
The proposed 924 square feet of commercial development would also generate unwanted noise and pollution to the residents on
Exposition Court.
Sincerely:
Steven Oetzell
