Good morning Mayor and City Council. I am very concern about the changes that may be coming to established older
neighborhoods which have parking permits (two permits per unit). My neighborhood has twenty four homes per block
which means there are forty eight permits per block not counting driveway parking. Our neighborhood does not have
enough on-street parking to accommodate more than two cars in front of each house for additional permits. I attached
photos of vehicles in front of homes in my neighborhood which show space for two vehicles only. Not sure where the
additional vehicles would park without crowding or blocking driveways especially at night when all occupants are at
home. I also thought the city was trying cut down on vehicle traffic, and pollution in the city with the establishment of
new bike lanes (costing hundreds of thousands of dollars). Crowding more vehicles into older established
neighborhoods seems to go against the cities objective and for our community.
