Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to object to this Project’s concessions which would allow … 1) a density bonus, 2) concessions ndrd regarding Edge Conditions standards, and 3) balconies on the 2 and 3 stories to face adjacent properties. Please do NOT allow these concessions to SLO’s building/property standards. SLO’s building/property standards where put into place for a reason (quality of life, reasonable density, balcony/window view privacy, enjoyment of one’s property, etc.). Allowing this Project to not have to adhere to these standards will negatively impact the exact qualities that SLO’s building standards were put into place to protect! I live adjacent to this property. Allowing the concessions that are being considered will negatively affect me, my property’s value, the quality of living in our neighborhood, and street parking (which is already bad on our street) will become worse. Please make this Project adhere to SLO’s existing building/property standards, and do NOT allow concessions. See attached Planning Commission Hearing Notice for the specific Project’s concessions that I am objecting to. I plan to continue to object to this Project’s concessions at meetings, to the City Manager, and to the City Counsel. Please consider. Call me if you’d like to discuss further. Thank you.
