Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. Dear City Council Members, I own the Soda Water Works complex at the corner of Dana and Nipomo Streets. There are approximately 14 on street parking spaces that have historically been used by commercial occupants. The city displaced the 14 commercial spaces in June when the Residential District signs were moved to incorporate the commercial frontage I own. The residences on Dana Street are not using the on street parking as anticipated perhaps due to the fact all these years they have parked on site in their own garages and driveways. Through the years downtown employees and shoppers have used the Dana on street residential parking because of the close proximity to the downtown and the lack of meters. Now that the residential district has been formed and is clearly underutilized by residential users-I ask that my tenants and myself be allowed to purchase permits within the district as commercial users. As such I support the ordinance amendment being considered tonight that would allow commercial users to purchase permits in residential districts. Thank you for your time and consideration, Mary Mitchell Soda Water Works -- Mary Mitchell, Broker Mitchell Real Estate License # 01452479 1015 Nipomo Street Suite 230 San Luis Obispo, Ca 93401 1 (805) 550-7168 (cell) (805) 781-0652 (fax) marymitchellre@gmail.com marymitchellrealestate.com Find Out What Your Home is Worth by Clicking HERE 2
