RESOLUTION.

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San luis
Obispo, that wheress heretofore and on November 7, 1923, there
van filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, a certain map entitled ituap
of Ut . Pleasanton Square o an addition to the City of Sa3n. Luis
Obispo, Califi ornia`r; and
t ;'1TRFPL , said map shows as public streets $ roads and
avenues two certain. county roads and also r1wray kvenue, Mt,
Pleasanton Drive, Renton Waxy and Moinecjke I`9vanuo; and.
t:TAEREAS, in and by the Owners' Certificate endorsed on
said map the cyaners of the property shadn thereon did offer and
dedicate to public use all the said streets, avenues and. roads
sham thereon; and whereas said hurray Avenue, and portions of
said M, Pleasanton Drivo and Benton avenue and of said two
streets 'shown on said map as County Roads were then and are now
in said City; and
a, ETAS, this City Council herotoforo and on October 29th,
1923, approved the said =ap, but nevertheless did not in terms
accept on bobalf of the public the offer and dedication thereon
made of such streets, avenues and roads caithin sa..d CityzjL and
Ytiil`RF 1.S, notzrithstandirg that this Council did not def-
initely accept such dedication of streets, roads and avenues
within said City, the said I'luarrLay Avenue, Benton Flay, 'Mt. P1eFasan
ton Square. and Leinacke Avenue, including the portions thereof
within said City, were throvm'open to public use ar_d were Im-
proved so as to.faeilitate such use by the public by the con -
struction therein of curbs and sidewalks and by the grading of
th.e roadways thereof aa:r? by the graveling of such roadways, all
such work having been done.shortly after the recordation of said
map; and
G't'MEAS# immediately upon such recordation the said roads,
streets and avenues began to be used by the'public and have
continuously since then been used by the public and have at all

times since been open to public use - without objection or
obstruction; and
WHET EAS, the said two county roads shown on said map are
old established public highways which have for long'years been
in public use and have been as such accepted by the public and
by this City Council as to the portions thereof within said City,

1FiEREAS, it is in accordance with the bublic interest,
that the public roads, streets and avenues, situated within,said
City shown on said map.should be declared to be public roads,
streets and avenues of the City of San Luis Obispo,- -
N077, THMEFOREs it is hereby ordered that the said Murray
Avenue, and those portions of.E1t. Pleasanton Drive, and Benton
Way and said two other.roads situated within said City and shown
on said map should be and the same are hereby declared to be
public roads, streets and avenues of the City of San Luis Obispo,
and the offer of dedication and dedication theretofore made of
same shall be and the same are hereby accepted for public use
by this City Council on behalf of the public.
