City Seeks Proposals for Mental Health ClinicianThe City is requesting proposals for an additional mental health clinician to serve on the City’s first Mobile Crisis Unit.Like the City’s Community Action Team (CAT), the Mobile Crisis Unit will pair a mental health clinician with City staff to provide non-emergency response and care to community members in crisis.The City will spend upwards of $300,000 this fiscal year to develop this pilot program managed by the City’s Fire Department to help achieve major city goals around homelessness. 2. Present to Council February 2022The City’s last Benchmark Compensation studies were in FY 2007-08 and 2014-15.The SLO Compensation Philosophy is that the City is committed to providing competitive compensation as part of an overall strategy of attracting and retaining well qualified employees who exemplify our organizational values.4.
