When deep fat fryers are used for cooking operations, they shall be commercially listed appliances with a nearby 1 % gallon Type "K" fire xtinguisher (CFC 319.4.2, 906.4). Cammercial exhaust hood and grease filters are being maintained in an operable condition, free of grease accumulation (CFC ou 7) All Booking equipment producing grease laden vapors are properly installed under a commercially listed exhaust hood with an awroved automatic fire extinguishing system designed to properly protect commercial cooking appliances (CFC 318.3, 318.4, 904.12). Port le Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) & Propane Cylinders: Portable cylinders must be U.L. listed with a total storage capacity which does not exceed 200 lbs. All cylinders have been securely mounted on vehicle and properly restrained to prevent movement (CFC 319.8, 6103.2.1.7). t No "homemade" manifolds or similar type heating devices are allowed. All connections and fittings should be tested utilizing a soap/water solution by the business owner prior to conducting cooking operations. 5. General Electrical Safety: Extension cords and other sources of temporary wiring shall be maintained in good working condition, without splices, terioration or damage and shall be properly grounded/listed for outdoor use (CFC 604.5.3). J Extension cords shall only be used with portable appliances. Check with the special event sponsor to ensure that your electrical wiring has been inspected prior to event (CFC 604.5).
