DATE 1 This was my first time attending WLLE, I feel the virtual training took away from the ac tual in pers on that would hav e occured 9/19/2020 8:14 AM 2 all of the presentat ions were enjoyable and offered information useful to my current position 9/17/2020 6:14 AM 3 I was disappointed with the virtual format 9/17/2020 12:22 AM 4 Definitely met my expectations sinc e I knew going virtual was going to be challenging. Well done :) 9/16/2020 12:21 PM 5 Very impres sed by the speakers and training topic s 9/16/2020 7:19 AM 6 Teh sessions went way better than I expec ted. They were all very interesting.9/16/2020 6:23 AM 7 While I realiz e the reas ons we needed to be virtual, it is diff icult to compare to WLLE's in the past . Hoping we can be back together as a group nex t year. 9/16/2020 5:25 AM 8 Great job with speak ers/zoom 9/15/2020 4:19 PM 9 Less interaction with presenters than expec ted 9/15/2020 3:17 PM 10 I enjoyed the ses sions whc ih motivated me.9/15/2020 1:58 PM 11 In person would have been better! Monterey Conferenc e and Palm Springs was the best EVER!!! 9/15/2020 1:03 PM 12 Amazing speakers !9/15/2020 11:30 AM 13 It was good but wis h it could hav e been in pers on.9/15/2020 10:54 AM 14 I didn't expect it to be as involved due to it being virtual, but I think they did the bes t they could. Nothing can compare to in-pers on presentat ions . 9/15/2020 10:29 AM 15 The layout was well through through. There was the chance for interac tion with the speakers .9/15/2020 10:08 AM 16 great variety of ses sions 9/15/2020 10:06 AM 17 It would hav e been nice to be able to interact more with the instructors in a Q&A fashion, instead of being talked at the whole time. 9/15/2020 10:04 AM 18 While I did enjoy and respec t the hard work that went into preparing a virtual conferenc e, I believe there are a few things that could be improv ed upon for the future. I would have lik ed to have seen more speak ers available to fill the day. Or the option to see more pre-rec orded dis cus sions . Sec ondly, I would lik e to say I als o apprec iate the Wlle is open to non-sworn attendees , but I would like to see a more diverse topic of discussions that also impac t non- sworn. One topic brief ly dis cussed, the Queen Bee Syndrome, but als o smaller agencies lack non-sworn leadership, ment orship and real discussion about co-exis ting relationships between non-sworn and sworn. 9/15/2020 9:29 AM 19 Regret tably it was virtual, by no fault of any one, but would hav e pref erred a true symposium 9/15/2020 9:06 AM 20 The Chief from Aurora IL blew me away. Hones t with us about what they could have done better. 9/15/2020 8:46 AM 21 Enjoyed the speak er presentations 9/15/2020 8:43 AM 22 I thought it was a rousing success. I loved the pics of the other agenc ies and what they were doing to create a fun event for them. 9/15/2020 8:39 AM 23 Great speakers !9/15/2020 8:38 AM 24 There is only so much you can do virtually. It seemed like another zoom meet ing.9/15/2020 8:21 AM 25 I really did not know what to expec t. Although, I originally thought that all the ses sions would be live. Maybe it's a good thing to prevent any pos sible/additional net work issues . 9/15/2020 7:53 AM 26 There's no substitut e for the in-person sharing and networking but I thought you did a great job mov ing to a virtual platform given the short ened amount of planning time. 9/15/2020 7:48 AM 27 Was not what I expec ted.9/15/2020 7:43 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 3 / 49 28 Still had amazing presentations and some actual interaction.9/15/2020 7:14 AM 29 Fantastic speak ers as always!9/15/2020 7:03 AM 30 giv en the circumstances, it was all you could do 9/15/2020 6:58 AM 31 Did not know what to expect with a virtual conference.9/15/2020 6:54 AM 32 Wasnt sure how it was going to be virtually but really enjoyed it.9/15/2020 6:22 AM 33 The pres enters all did a great job with their presentations . The amount of time for each slot was perfec t! All the information prov ided was relev ant to being a leader. Great Job! 9/13/2020 6:11 PM 34 I didn't think it was going to be so interactive! I had so muc h fun with Zumba, and talking to people in Zumba! I love singing the songs during the breaks and post ing pic tures. I had the best time. I am going to beg my superiors to let me come next year, hopefully in person! I love how women were jus t celebrating eac h other. It is so great being around people that unders tand your struggle! Loved it! I miss it already! 9/11/2020 2:25 PM 35 Even though it was virt ual, I at times forgot we were not right in front of the pres enter.9/11/2020 2:11 PM 36 Amazing speakers , so ins pirational 9/11/2020 1:56 PM 37 Conds idering the virtual format, you ALL did an incredible job! I really enjoyed attending every workshop and learned and gain knowledge. Thank you!! 9/11/2020 1:53 PM 38 I have at tended in pers on and the information was great but, as I ex pec ted the energy from the networking made a differenc e. 9/11/2020 8:52 AM 39 WLLE is suc h a powerful conference. I worried that an online platform would lose its effect, but the speak ers and work shops were amaz ing. I missed seeing everyone in pers on, but enjoy ed the pictures from the pas t. 9/11/2020 7:28 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 4 / 49 32.67%33 67.33%68 Q2 Was this your first WLLE conference? Be kind alway s and treat everyone the way that they want to be treated (Platinum Rule) 9/15/2020 6:24 PM 7 Great information, identified something we all know but maybe couldn't name, provided solutions to not fall into that trap. Like Joannie a lot! 9/15/2020 12:23 PM 8 This presentation was diffic ult because the format had the presenter in a small box in the upper right corner. This made it hard to connect with the presenter and detracted from her pres entation style. 9/15/2020 11:28 AM 9 Enc ouraging words on how to be product ive and succ eed, maintain your dignit y in a not so nice env iornment. 9/15/2020 11:26 AM 10 I’d prefer to have heard it from someone in law enforc ement instead of a tech company pers on 9/15/2020 11:12 AM 11 Really enjoyed the topic 9/15/2020 10:55 AM 12 Good information however, I believe it would have been better off if someone from the LE communit y pres ented it to make it more relatable 9/15/2020 10:17 AM 13 I have friends in the TECH indus try and we have shared similar st ories.9/15/2020 10:17 AM 14 It would hav e been nice to be able to interact more in a Q&A fashion with the inst ruc tors, instead of being talked at the whole time. 9/15/2020 10:05 AM 15 great topic! The home page came up with "my guides" and it was just the Sac location, which is not relev ant to this years conference sinc e it was virtual. Some directions on that face page would have been helpful. Tapping the 4 lines in the left hand corner was where the real action was , so ev en an arrow on that landing page would have helped. Some easier verbiage inst ead of "interact" just say load photos here. I could not find any plac e where I could find attendees that I knew. I saw my friend liked my photo, but I could not link back to her on the app, or if there was a plac e to do that, I couldnt find it. 9/15/2020 9:29 AM 18 We all thought there were multiple breakout sessions that we could choose. Instead we all had to take the same sessions that weren't necessarily relevant to us. 9/15/2020 9:19 AM 19 Nex t time, I will have to stay home, flex my schedule - espec ially for the opening. The lag between the audio and visual was a little distrac ting but that happens and I was just happy to hear what she had to say. 9/16/2020 12:27 PM 4 Great to hear story 9/16/2020 10:44 AM 5 .9/16/2020 8:12 AM 6 I appreciated that Chief French shared her pers onal story ; her hard work and commitment cannot be ov ers tat ed. How unfortunate that she experienc ed some of the raz ing from her male counterparts. But as we look back, perhaps it was these experienc es that made her stronger and more res ilient. I applaud Chief Frenc h! 9/16/2020 5:35 AM 7 Short presentat ion was looking for a more inspirational and motiv ational presentation. Looking forward to hearing from Chief French more in future, when she gets more tenure as a Chief. 9/15/2020 2:29 PM 8 Chief French came acros s as personable and I enjoyed learning her story.9/15/2020 11:29 AM 9 Informative 9/15/2020 11:28 AM 10 Chief Bisa had the bes t pres entation overall to me..short and sweet but pac ked with information 9/15/2020 10:18 AM 11 Exc ellent.9/15/2020 8:44 AM 12 I appreciated how frank Chief French was in her pres entation.9/15/2020 8:21 AM 13 I've got nothing from this presentation. Jus t bitt ernes s. Please don't bring this presenter back .9/15/2020 7:32 AM 14 Great speaker and presentat ion I would like to see more lik e these 9/15/2020 7:01 AM 15 Chief French took a risk at admitting to some of the faults of law enforc ement, I think a lot of people who aren’t minorities have no idea what she was talking about , but I was opened minded and learned that we all hav e to be in order to make change. 9/11/2020 2:36 PM 16 She was so inspiring!9/11/2020 2:28 PM 17 Chief French was so insprational. WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 21 / 49 PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FEEDBACK FOR THIS SESSION:DATE 1 Again, did not like some subjec t topic; and ac tually did not keep my attention.9/23/2020 1:57 PM 2 I really apprec iated the different perspec tiv es and the women's "realnes s." It was nic e to hear the Offic ers admit fear - we rarely do that but we all feel it. Commissioner Ray was fantastic - I appreciated her compliments to the Of ficers and her overal general pos itivity. It is easy to see why she has excelled to such a high leadership role in the CHP. This was a great sess ion. 9/21/2020 1:57 PM 3 I really thought it could hav e been organized better 9/17/2020 12:25 AM 4 They tried but were not really prepared.9/16/2020 7:10 PM 5 I appreciated hearing the diff erent perspect ives and experiences. I was pulled away for a work iss ue so I mis sed the las t bit. 9/16/2020 12:27 PM 6 All prov ided good information. DC Ray should have spoken first, it felt as if she had limited time 9/16/2020 10:44 AM 7 I really lik ed to hear eac h members ex perience. It might hav e flowed better having eac h speak on one part of their experience and then ask them to speak on the next. Hearing eac h story at length and then on to the next was a little bit tough on transition. 9/16/2020 8:12 AM 8 I lov ed the candid talks and just being real.9/16/2020 6:24 AM 9 I appreciated the stories from representatives from small, medium and large law enforc ement agencies. 9/16/2020 5:35 AM 10 Did not feel like Of ficer Jenk ins and Bailey had enough ex perience to speak about the matt er. Not quite the caliber of speak er I was expecting to hear from. 9/15/2020 2:36 PM 11 Wasn't sure what to ex pect. Point-of-view commentary was enlightening.9/15/2020 12:24 PM 12 I underst and the frus tration by both officers. I am glad Deputy Commissioner Ray gave us a birds eye view. We need solutions or way s to keep mentally sound during these times. 9/15/2020 12:16 PM 13 Great! Allowed a dif ferent pers pec tive from eac h area in the department 9/15/2020 11:28 AM 14 It was an interesting way to present but I would hav e enjoyed hearing more from Amanda Ray.9/15/2020 11:14 AM 15 I didn't think the discussion mat ched the title very well.9/15/2020 10:56 AM 16 Kylee. I am not sure there was value in a woman who did not want to leave her comf ort zone, it was an odd choic e. 9/15/2020 10:40 AM 17 Was hoping to hear more about procedures on Critical Incidents vs . experienc e 9/15/2020 10:37 AM 18 I appreciated the differenc e in the three perspectiv es 9/15/2020 10:20 AM 19 This was awf ul. We thought it would be tips and guidance about handing civ il unrest, instead they just rambled about their experiences and feelings. The moderat or didn't help at all. 9/15/2020 9:20 AM 20 CHP Commissioner Ray and the ot her Offic ers did a spec tacular job!9/15/2020 9:08 AM 21 We needed more of Dep.Comm. Ray.9/15/2020 8:44 AM 22 Deputy Commis sioner Ray was so inspiring, genuine, and wrapped it all up excellent!9/15/2020 8:41 AM 23 I appreciated that the pres entation allowed for Q&A. I was expec ting more of a tactical debrief than what was pres ented but I rec ogniz e the content/format may hav e been what ot her attendees needed. 9/15/2020 8:21 AM 24 Nic e to hear from all points of views .9/15/2020 7:58 AM 25 good try, but they all tiptoed around the truth. They were all "peaceful" protes ts, right?9/15/2020 7:32 AM 26 They all had a lot of great things to share. I think one of the mos t powerf ul things though, was the way they supported each other's ex periences. And the final speaker was awes ome. 9/15/2020 7:20 AM 27 I enjoyed hearing from fellow female law enf orment but other than Deputy Commis sioner I would have like a little more senior officers with some more experience then the other two that were on the panel. With 13 years on it was not very benificial to hear from people with less than 5 years and not a lot of insite on handeling incident s 9/15/2020 7:01 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 22 / 49 28 This session was great gav e insight to what they deal and dealt with during the roits.9/15/2020 6:59 AM 29 Informait on prov ided by Deputy Commis sioner Amanda Ray was great. Other than that , it was war" stories. 9/15/2020 6:26 AM 30 I did not feel the panel spoke about the act ual topic .9/15/2020 6:13 AM 31 All pres enters did a great job in giv ing their ac count of what is happening in their agenc y and their experience. They were all able to respond very well! 9/13/2020 6:14 PM 32 It was important to hear from Officer Jenkins , sinc e she was where an officer was shot and to hear about how black offic er’s have it wors e than other races. I enjoy ed hearing from Offic er Bailey since San Luis Obis po is predominately white. Different perspec tives is always good. 9/11/2020 2:36 PM 33 It was nic e to see the percpectiv es from three different counties and hear their stories. It was also nice to see the point of view from a newer officer and a seasoned one. 9/11/2020 2:17 PM 34 This was very helpful, bec ause of the authenic nat ure and vulnerable approach. It showed the reality of what these women are facing, it truly showed the experiences our collegues are living through. 9/11/2020 1:59 PM 35 it is my opinion neither of the offic ers really made a point. They spok e about their ex periences but nev er expressed what they were trying to conv ey. 9/11/2020 9:32 AM 36 It was great to hear perspectiv es from different agenc ies.9/11/2020 7:32 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 23 / 49 42.11%40 45.26%43 8.42%8 4.21%4 Q13 Please rate the Workshop: "Behind the Crime Scene: Women in Law Enforcement; You made it- Now What?" I'd like to see more topics , related to civilians, not just dispatc hers , but records pers onnel, evidence tec hs , analysts etc. 9/15/2020 9:37 AM 30 I really enjoy any present ations regarding leaders hip (think Jocko Willink and Leif Babin - but not them bec ause they would be too ex pensiv e lol) and real life stories of resilienc e and surv ival (similar to Julie Werhnyak). 9/15/2020 9:27 AM 31 More variety 9/15/2020 9:23 AM 32 Cons ider a male speak er to provide women with a male's perspec tiv e on certain is sues. This will help women better unders tand and overcome barriers in a male-dominated work place. 9/15/2020 9:10 AM 33 How to deal with the undertow of the department, the informal leaders who bully thos e they perc eiv e as weak . 9/15/2020 9:09 AM 34 Panel of Kate Scott , Alyssa Nak ken, Sarah Thomas and Katie Sowers. All female pioneers in the sport s indus try, breaking barriers. It will be tough for a fall conference sinc e foot ball and baseball will be happening but I think it would be awesome 9/15/2020 9:08 AM 35 I love listening to Brene Brown and Mel Robbins presentations . I used much of Mel Robbins teac hings in her book "Work It Out" to ace an interview for the Jail Manager pos ition at the Burbank PD. Firs t woman manager and POC in this pos ition. This week I registered for the Ros e Bowl Instit ute - Women's Empowerment Sy mpos ium. An impres sive line up of speak ers too. I'll forward the link to Shannon Mahoney. It starts tomorrow. 9/15/2020 8:53 AM 36 Civ ilian Leadership in LE; Hiring Offic ers during civil unres t 9/15/2020 8:44 AM 37 Keep the inspiring women coming! Would lov e to cont inue to recognize women's ac hiev ements in LE 9/15/2020 8:43 AM 38 prac tical applic ations / case studies 9/15/2020 8:33 AM 39 Critic al Inc ident Debriefs 9/15/2020 8:23 AM 40 Rec ruiting and retention of personnel.9/15/2020 8:21 AM 41 Please stop making it about women against men. I don't care if a female officer got her butt slapped by a male officer 20 years ago and is still bitter about it. Things have changed. As one of the good speakers said, leadership is overglorified. I would like to see real people going through the real challenges we are facing. Psychologic al and career advice from "outsiders " is always good, as long as they tailor their pres entation law enforc ement, not corporate Americ a. 9/15/2020 8:15 AM 42 I enjoyed every class and would lik e to see a lot of them come back to inc lude current events between now and nex t year. (Lord knows we have more craz ines s ahead.) We will hopef ully be rec overing from civil unrest events related to the election, any rec ov er from COVID 19 either returning to what we knew before or what adaptations we have had to make. More mental health support and upward mobility / promotion support. 9/15/2020 8:11 AM 43 I enjoy the topic s bas ed on building confidenc e. Topic s that are motivat ing and inspiring are always good. Another leaders hip workshop is alway s helpful. May be another workshop on 9/15/2020 8:09 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 46 / 49 managing/handling multiple tasks. 44 I found the speak ers that offer advise on taking care of yours elf and talk about current events very inspiring. 9/15/2020 7:41 AM 45 I get my cup filled and I am inspired when I hear women speak of empowerment and resilience. I also like to hear from life coac hes . 9/15/2020 7:34 AM 46 Tracy Miller is a must!9/15/2020 7:31 AM 47 I lov ed the podc as t ladies and I downloaded the podcas t. Have the officer who was shot in Compt on this week as your speak er nex t year. She is amazing! 9/15/2020 7:30 AM 48 Mindset, emotional surv ival 9/15/2020 7:26 AM 49 I would lov e to see more about women who lead a crit ical incident on the front line or a female offic er in an officer involv ed shooting and how they delt with before during and after. A speaker on ways to help get females more connected on the department. We have a very large department and feel females are separated by where they work. 9/15/2020 7:09 AM 50 Supervis ion guides 9/15/2020 6:46 AM 51 There is a female Captain that jus t retired from the Riverside Sheriff's Department (Coby Webb). She has a truly inspirational story of actually dying (but being brought back) after a horrific car accident and her journey to coming back full dut y while getting her doctorate. 9/15/2020 6:31 AM 52 Everyone loves a critic al incident or investigat ions debrief and training, so to incorporated may be one or two more, who be a nice break in between other workshops . I definitely would like to hear more on promot ing and leaders hip. 9/15/2020 6:16 AM 53 we often get inf o on how not to discriminate co-workers that might hav e a mental medic al issue etc.., but nev er any info on what to do if that type of person used that status as a reason to get a way treating YOU badly. what are our options ? How do you proc eed? 9/14/2020 11:04 AM 54 How to speak in public .9/11/2020 2:50 PM 55 Topic s on relax ation! Topics similar to the ones this year!9/11/2020 2:40 PM 56 Pos sible hav e someone talk from a Probation Department.9/11/2020 2:26 PM 57 Unk 9/11/2020 1:26 PM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 47 / 49 Q24 Do you have any additional feedback you would like to give? Please leave blank if none. Answered: 30 Sk ipped: 71 WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 48 / 49 RESPONSES DATE 1 I was frus trat ed that the Yoga classes were on Zoom instead of the platform used for the other sessions. My Dept does not use Zoom due to sec urity concerns so I was not able to take advantage of those clas ses. :-( The sponsor emails were, simply put, annoying. My email box started filling up with them as soon as I clicked on their businesses before the conferenc e began. Their verbiage of "I can't believ e its been a year since we last talk ed..." and "Sorry I missed you..." were so obv ious ly impers onal (and untrue!) that it completely turned me off to ever looking into their products . I'm grateful my Dept made this inves tment in me but I hope to someday attend in person. I'm sure it took a lot of flexibility and creativ ity to try to make things interactive and engaging. 9/21/2020 2:12 PM 2 For scheduling purposes, I would hav e liked to have seen a "fuller" agenda for eac h day, such as more cont ent for the afternoon sessions. Even though there were break out sessions for the afternoons on some days (i.e. one-on-one zoom sess ion with retired Chief ), bec ause the agenda showed only 4 hours of content eac h day, my agenc y did not allow me to participate in thos e additional training and development opportunities. 9/18/2020 9:10 PM 3 I loved the virtual format! the in-person is better, but this work ed. Thank you everyone for all of the work , time, energy and prep putting it together!!!! 9/17/2020 8:55 AM 4 I really hope to attend a "non-virtual" conferenc e.9/17/2020 12:28 AM 5 The efforts of Cal Chiefs to present WLLE virtually is very much appreciated. While it may be outs ide of any one's control, I am hopeful that we can all meet in pers on in Santa Clara in 2021. 9/16/2020 6:09 AM 6 Probably would not attend another virtual event. It's much better in pers on.9/15/2020 6:27 PM 7 .9/15/2020 2:31 PM 8 We hav e so many strong leaders who prov ide excellent ins ight , advice, guidance and pers pective. The conferenc e is not only about learning and networking, but also about human connec tion and shared experiences. You folk s are all ov er providing the engaging, challenging and interesting cont ent with a variety of speak ers . Please keep the balance with levity and info-tainmnet challenges too. We DO tak e all this serious ly, but a litt le fun goes a long way. People may not always remember what was said, but they will remember how it made them feel. Continue to cov er all the bas es ... Thank you for another great WLLE. Stay safe 9/15/2020 12:41 PM 9 I like this symposium being av ailable on Zoom. I was able to attend clas ses without fus s . I did miss any social "Zoom" activ ities. It's still good to network. 9/15/2020 12:25 PM 10 YES! This conf erence was one of the best I hav e done virtually this year (I have been to about 5 so far.) Thank you all who worked on this , who had to switch from traditional to virtual, bravo! You should be very proud! 9/15/2020 12:23 PM 11 One certif icate listing all cours es ?9/15/2020 11:34 AM 12 I enjoyed the different options and perspec tives. Thank you for all your work in thes e crazy times 9/15/2020 10:30 AM 13 I enjoyed the event. Too bad it had to be virtual due to the pandemic.9/15/2020 9:10 AM 14 You did a GREAT job given it was all virtual.9/15/2020 9:08 AM 15 Great job to you all for putting this event on. In life we hav e to pivot some times . I look forward to 2021!! Tania Cooper 9/15/2020 8:53 AM 16 Thank s for another great conferenc e!9/15/2020 8:23 AM 17 Cant thank you enough. It was not what I expected. Paid for this myself. I'll be honest I was afraid it was going to be exc uses/ and whining and there was none. Just great info and taking res ponsibility for ourselves and our ac tions . THANKYOU. 9/15/2020 8:16 AM 18 thank you for the opportunit y to giv e my opinion. I als o thank you for mak ing the eff ort to cont inue the WLLE despite COVID. 9/15/2020 8:15 AM 19 The virtual conference did exceed my expectations overall, however, it wasn't easy for me to find the event page after logging into the cal chief website each day. It took a little extra time each morning. 9/15/2020 8:09 AM WL L E 2020 Training Symposium 49 / 49 20 Thank you to the organiz ers of WLLE 2020 for a great ev ent! Job well done!9/15/2020 7:41 AM 21 Please have Chief Ziman and Heather Williams bac k ; espec ially Heather Williams. She is truly an advocate for changing the stigma around as king for help and promoting Peer Support and Officer Wellnes s, an area that I know CPCA is working to grow . Thank you. 9/15/2020 7:34 AM 22 overall the conf erence was ok due to the conditions . Definit ely looking forward to the in person conf erenc e nex t year! 9/15/2020 7:34 AM 23 I can't wait to do this in pers on. It's awesome when we all get together. The energy is great.9/15/2020 7:31 AM 24 Thank you for putting on WLLE. I know it was challenging but I apprec iated it very much. I lov ed the CHP leader, she was badass! 9/15/2020 7:30 AM 25 I think for it being the first time virtual you guy s did a great job. We got a group toget her and were able to view it. I would be nice may be once a month to do a one day virtual training where we can get together and just talk or have one pres entation. Just another way to get agenc y 's to get the females closer together. 9/15/2020 7:09 AM 26 Looking forward for a live conference for the connection with other women in other agencies.9/15/2020 6:46 AM 27 Thank you for another fabulous WLLE experienc e!9/15/2020 6:16 AM 28 The topics were nice and informative. My biggest complaint is that we didn't hav e a syllabus? Somet hing that would lesson our note taking and actually get to enjoy the speak er instead of frantic ally try ing to write everyt hing down before it disappeared off our monit or. Als o I did not receive the coupon for lunc h and there was no one to tell. 9/14/2020 11:04 AM 29 I just had the bes t time! Thank you!9/11/2020 2:40 PM 30 I appreciate the fac t there is a conf erenc e out there for women. Law enforc ement is a male dominated profes sion. It is nice to see females empowering and educat ing females. Thank you for all of your hard work. Although COVID changed the conference and it had to be done virtually, I think that is what helped me. I was not selected to go to the conferenc e; howev er, sinc e it was not out of town, my department opened it up and any one who wanted to at tend was able to. Thankf ully I was able to virtually attend. 9/11/2020 2:26 PM
