To the San Luis Obispo City Council,
Should the process of replacing the mayor create an opening for an interim City Council member, I urge you to select
Mike Multari. He is eminently qualified by virtue of his many years of work in various capacities in San Luis Obispo,
which I am sure you are well aware of. His experience aside, I recommend him primarily because of his thoughtful and
measured approach to all questions of community decision-making. I should think that recent political dramas would
incline any reasonable public body to prefer members who listen well, respect all points of view, do their research, and
present their conclusions with a clear eye to the public good. By all these measures, I recommend Mr. Multari.
