Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. To the SLO parks advisory committee, Something must be done about the bathrooms at Sinsheimer Park. I can only speak to the women's restroom. After a crowded evening at a Blue's game, resulting in multiple flushes the women's bathroom is covered in water because almost every toilet leaks. Then toilet paper provided by the Blues invariable accidentally falls into the water and becomes a soggy mess. Plus, then there's no TP. During the 2021 season I should have phoned you and demanded that you send a representative to look at the situation around the 7th inning of a weekend game. Just examining it when no one is using it won't give you an accurate picture of the problem. My husband and I have had Blues season tickets since 2018. I did phone you after that season and was told money had been allotted for that park. With all the money you spent on the play area, something should have been done about the bathrooms. The last night we attended in 2021, I said to my husband, "It's a very sad state of affairs, when it's preferable to go to a somewhat smelly port a potty than a real bathroom." Also I would think that in a major drought you would care about not wasting water. Blues baseball is very popular and a wonderful asset to the community. It's your restrooms that mar the experience. And merely closing the bathrooms is a terrible option. It's time they were repaired! Rosemary Donnell Please note I usually only check e-mails once a day.
