Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. Dear Council Members, I urge you to choose Mila Vujovich-La Barre for City Council. Mila has worked hard to improve our community for years, tirelessly fighting for the residents, especially the ones who need help, such as being on the board of Sunny Acres and on the Board of Prevention of Substance Abuse for Youth. She previously ran for Council and came in third, mostly because she did not have the Chamber of Commerce to fuel her candidacy, and it would be really healthy to have someone sitting on the Council who did not go through the Chamber of Commerce. A City Council ought to be a meeting of many voices, so that different residents are represented and heard. It is not presently the case. Mila received various awards for her good work, such as SLO County Woman of Distinction, and her name is on the SLO County Supervisors Wall of Fame. Finally, as a long time school teacher in Spanish, she is aware of the problems encountered by Mexican immigrants, and would be able to speak for them, since nobody else on the Council can do it for the moment. Again, I urge you to choose this outstanding woman for City Council. Sincerely, Odile Ayral 1
