Vice Mayor Stewart and Council Members,
I'm writing to support your appointment of Mila Vujovich La-Barre to fill the council vacancy should you choose to
appoint Erica Stewart as Mayor.
Mila has been a very active participant in the community and in city matters. Her passion to serve her community is
evidenced by her attendance at many City Council, Planning Commission, and ARC meetings over the years, speaking on
a variety of issues facing this City, and by her participation in various community groups. In fact, her strong civic duty
moved her to run for City Council in 2016.
Mila is able to relate to many different walks of life and various ages since she has worked as a teacher for many years
and has served on many community groups working on various issues facing our city.
Mila has also been a small business owner and has faced the same challenges many of our small business owners have
experienced which will give her the ability to better understand their concerns.
Mila's varied experiences and dedication to her community makes her a well-qualified choice for city council and I urge
you to appoint her to join you on the dais.
