Dear SLO Leadership:
I’m not 100% sure this is the correct email, so please forward to the proper people if I’m off target!
The pool at Sensheimer Park beckons either three or four days a week and has for about a dozen years - ever since I
moved to SLO! What a super facility. It saddens me to see it underutilized as the City navigates through personnel
“shortages".
You could put what I know about parks and recreation in a thimble, but I know a fair amount about structure and
leadership after w-a-y too many years of consulting. Without knowing all the details or back-story, I’d make a large
wager there are issues to address within the pool hierarchy that would get us more lifeguards hired, more pool hours,
and, therefore more city revenue. Please, PLEASE figure that out, would you?
