Dear Mayor & City Council,
I am a customer of Natural Healing Center and a resident of San Luis Obispo County. I am also a voter and a taxpayer. I am VERY opposed to the City of SLO shutting down NHC’s dispensary
before they even have the chance to open.
Considering that Megan's Organic Market is free to do business in SLO, it makes sense to allow Natural Healing center to operate as well. Allowing both businesses to operate incentives
competition which leads to better deals for all customers. Blocking NHC allows Megan's to operate without competition, leading to higher prices and less of an incentive for Megan's
to provide high quality service. On top of all of this, NHC has made a large investment in this project. I find it bizarre that the city would do this to a small business, especially
given the struggles of the pandemic.
I urge you to reconsider,
