Dear council members,
As a mountain biker in our community, daylight savings has severely limited my ability to pursue my passion (for I am a
student and do not have sunlight after school to ride). I know for a fact that a large portion of our community feels the
same way as me, and we would greatly appreciate it if the open spaces of SLO could stay open past sunset.
I understand that this is not the most convenient for our city staff for various reasons, but I believe it will strengthen
community bonds if we are able to visit things like the Madonna Christmas tree after dark.
Thank you for reading this letter, I hope you understand how important this is to the happiness of the outdoors
community.
Sincerely,
A concerned mountain biker
