Hi Active transportation committee members.
Thank you for your input on the numerous bicycle /pedestrian improvements by my house. I’ll admit, I had my doubts
about the Madonna Bike path, but it truly is a joy to ride—so relaxing to be away from traffic. The hawk system is great
and the sidewalk/bike path on Froom Ranch way is getting more and more use as the secret gets out. Keep up the good
work.
One concern I have is at the end of Oceanaire Drive. Currently there is nothing in place to discourage an impaired driver
from plowing up the slope into the back of the guardrail on Froom Ranch Way. (Also, the bike ramp would have been
better offset by one foot…currently a young cyclists could run straight into the back of the white truck shown)
I suggest a fence of some type with a ‘end road’ marker or something like this:

Now that the word is out, the traffic on Froom Ranch road is increasing. I hope the hawk light on Froom Ranch Way will
be enabled soon.
Sincerely,
Cheryl
