HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-29-2021 Agenda - Special Closed Session City Council AGENDA Monday, November 29, 2021, 4:30 p.m. Teleconference - Broadcast via Webinar SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL Pursuant to Executive Orders N-60-20 and N-08-21 executed by the Governor of California, and subsequently Assembly Bill 361, enacted in response to the state of emergency relating to novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and enabling teleconferencing accommodations by suspending or waiving specified provisions in the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code § 54950 et seq.), members of the public, City Council, City Manager, City Attorney, City Staff, and City Consultants may participate in this regular meeting by teleconference. Using the most rapid means of communication available at this time, members of the public are encouraged to participate in Council meetings in the following ways: Remote Viewing - Members of the public who wish to watch the meeting can: Join the Meeting (hosted via Microsoft Teams) to provide public comment on Closed Session items: Join from your computer or mobile app: Click here to join the meeting Or call in (audio only): +1 209-645-4165,,522261796# Phone Conference ID: 522 261 796# As the purpose for this Special Meeting is to hold a Closed Session, the meeting will not be livestreamed to the City's YouTube Channel or broadcasted on Channel 20. Public Comment - Public comment can be submitted in the following ways: Mail or Email Public Comment Received by 1:30 PM on the day of meeting - Can be submitted via email to emailcouncil@slocity.org or U.S. Mail to City Clerk at 990 Palm St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. All emails will be archived/distributed to councilmembers, however, submissions after 1:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting may not be archived/distributed until the following day. Emails will not be read aloud during the meeting. Verbal Public Comment In Advance of the Meeting – Call (805) 781-7164; state and spell your name, the agenda item number you are calling about and leave your comment. The verbal comments must be limited to 3 minutes. All voicemails will be forwarded to the Council Members and saved as Agenda Correspondence. Voicemails will not be played during the meeting. During the meeting – Join the meeting (instructions above). Once public comment for Closed Session items is opened, please raise your virtual hand, your name will be called, and your microphone will be unmuted. Stewart will call the Special Meeting of the San Luis Obispo City Council to order. 2.CLOSED SESSION 2.a.PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS ONLY Public Comment will be accepted for Closed Session items only. 2.b.CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation of litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9: Potential Number of Cases - One. 2.c.ADJOURN CLOSED SESSION Adjourn to the Regular Meeting of the City Council scheduled for December 7, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., via teleconference LISTENING ASSISTIVE DEVICES for the hearing impaired - see the Clerk.
