Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. I agree with Cheryl’s e-mail. Additionally, SB 9 makes it more difficult for young people, especially young families, to buy homes. Properties with ADUs, lot splits, etc. are more valuable than single homes on a lot. The potential to build such makes them more valuable (more expensive). SB 9 may benefit renters and it certainly benefits investors, not home buyers. Please do what you can to make San Luis as affordable as you can for people starting out. Thank you. THANK YOU. City Council: 1 What are you doing about SB 9's implantation by January 1, 2022 ? That's the deadline for local input. I concur with Allan Cooper's communication to you. Please don't tell me that "Our hands are tied." This is a chance for you to save what's left of San Luis Obispo's livability & neighborhoods. Please consider our water shortage and other Climate Change effects by putting this on an agenda or calling a special meeting. Many other cities have their act together already. Thank you. Sincerely, Cheryl McLean San Luis Obispo 2
