Subject:Strongly oppose any attempts to kneecap SB9

Hello,
I'm just writing because I know you've probably heard a lot from people up in arms about SB9. I strongly oppose any
attempts to use local regulations to kneecap SB9 in SLO. We are in a crisis of housing availability and affordability that is
seriously impacting quality of life here in town. I've heard a lot of talk of things like: lot size minimums, unit size
minimums or maximums, affordability requirements (we need housing built at all cost levels, forcing all development to
be low income just means nothing new gets built at all), requirement for a lot split applicant to live on the lot. I oppose
all these suggestions. We desperately need to have more flexibility for increasing the density of our neighborhoods to
ensure that SLO can be a vibrant, sustainable place to live for everyone and not just wealthy retirees and telecommuting
tech workers.
Best,
