Thank you for allawing us additional time ta presen�aur positian at the November 29t"
Constructian Board of Appeals hearang. We had only expected to receive three minutes to speak, and
we appreciated the oppartunity ta expand an some the issues relevant to those citatians, albeit in a
samewhat unprepared and disarganized fashion.
While I realdze that the citatians related ta the status of the drainage ditch running through our
property have been shelved until after our rmeeting with the District Attarney, we'd like a chance to
address a cauple co�rrrments Roger Maggia made about the use of our praperty that we feel are relevant
to the remaining citation.
First, we'd like to renew aur October 31st, 2Q18 affer ta rernove the stairs and dose the
breaches between starage containers.
Secondly,we've attached a copy of our rental agreement, as well as photas fram both our own
�tarage cantainers as well as several rented out to aur tenants,ta demonstrate that we neither allaw
nor talerate use of aur storage cantainers for any sart of human occupancy.
Third, Maggia mentianed th�at he respanded to fires an aur property, so I'd like to give some
bac�Cgrourrd c,n those.
The first fire was set by Alan, our night watchman. He had psycholagical issues, but was lucid
and taking hais medicatian regularly when we hired him ta act as night watchman an the property. Same
months into his tenure, he started tc� behave erratically, one night setting several pallets on fire ta keep
awauy boogeyman he felt were aut tcr get him.
After that incident,we said that him staying on as night watchman was cpnditianal on his
continuing taking his medicatian,Th�is all culminated in Alan, still aff af his meds, setting fire ta his own
RV in the belief the�overnment would give him a new place ta stay, Not sure if that worked aut for him,
but we haven't seen him since.

psychc�lca�ical issues, and had been suspected caf sleeping c�n the praperty. He h�d been issued a N�tice
c�f Viea(�tion to that effect. When he crat a hcrle in the rcrrrf e�f his starage container shc,rtly thereafter, h�
was informed that h��rras being evicted.
Whether in an attempt to recover his s�curity deposit, or ta somehc�w �ersuade us to allc�w him
t�st�y�n the�r��erty, he�tr��pt�� *c�:aoel� shur r�!� h�l� had cut�!� rh� r��f�f his�t�r=���c�rt���,pr.
Sparks fram his welding attempt fell intc� h�is crntainer i�niting stored��c�ds,
5ince these incidents, all prc�spective tenants must submit to a back�round check, and this has
I�rg�ly prevent�d issues with new tenants.
