Subject:Nunes Tree Removal 2061 Ward Street

I am a neighbor and homeowner located at 2089 Ward Street. I do not support the removal of the tree at 2061 Ward
Street. It is a magnificent oak and can be seen from around the neighborhood. From my second floor deck, I look onto
it as the sun sets behind it—it is gorgeous. In general, I do not oppose tree removal, however this oak is an asset to the
neighborhood and the City.
Part of the “Reason” in the Removal Application states that it overhangs the neighbors, but we all admire the tree and
have no concerns about the overhang. As for the driveway, that is not structural and is easily repaired. The damage to
the garage roof is negligible and there would be no damage if the tree were maintained.
