SUBJECT: AMEND THE 2022 COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE TO CANCEL THE
APRIL 5, 2022 CITY COUNCIL MEETING
RECOMMENDATION
Amend the 2022 City Council meeting calendar to cancel the Regular City Council
Meeting of Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
DISCUSSION
The City Council’s 2022 meeting schedule was approved by City Council on November
2, 2021. Subsequent to the approval, it was determined that key staff and members of
Council will be attending a training and are unavailable for the April 5, 2022, City Council
meeting. As such, staff is requesting to cancel the April 5, 2022, City Council meeting.
Policy Context
The recommended action follows previously established practice for cancelling a City
Council meeting.
Public Engagement
No public engagement was done for the adoptions of the City Council Meeting Schedule
as it is an administrative item, and the meeting dates are established in the Council
Policies and Procedures. The public will have the opportunity to submit comments pri or
to and during the City Council meeting on February 15, 2022.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The California Environmental Quality Act does not apply to the recommended action in
this report, because the action does not constitute a “Project” under CEQA Guidelines
Sec. 15378.
