Dear Council Members,
We became permanent residents of SLO county in the mid 1990’s. Having come from L.A., we were used to having a
variety of the arts to enjoy. Moving to SLO caused us to be concerned that SLO would not offer us very much, if
anything, in the way of theater. But as you know, nothing could have been further from truth. SLO’s Little Theater
provided everything we hoped for and more.
Now we have the opportunity to provide more and better to a growing and hopeful audience by way of the SLO REP
project. Thousands of SLO’s residents and visitors are waiting to enjoy a new era of City supported arts in a new facility
which will offer a wide range of so many benefits.
You hold the keys to unlocking this new and exciting future. That’s why we urge you to support the SLO Rep Project and
approve the Grant which will make all this happen. That Grant approval will be so highly appreciated by residents,
visitors, artists young and old.
