Dear City Council:
I am writing to urge the Council to approve SLO REP's request for a challenge grant. I feel that the city has an
unprecedented moment in time to fulfill a long held vision to establish a true cultural center to enhance downtown's
vibrancy. A new SLO REP theatre would also enhance the educational opportunities of our local youth, providing after
school activities, summer workshops, and other enriching curriculum. This is a win/win opportunity and I therefore ask the
council to approve SLO REP's challenge grant request.
