Dear City Council:
I am writing in support of SLO REP’s challenge grant request for the new theater project. Support
and funding for this project will nurture the spirit of our town as it grows and changes. For decades,
SLO REP has been a beloved fixture in the community to long-term residents, and attractive to
tourists staying in the downtown area. It has been a great joy to see this organization grow and
improve, and the quality of the productions getting better and better. Please approve SLO REP's
grant so we can continue to enjoy and to showcase San Luis Obispo's support of and passion for the
arts. It is one of the things that makes our town what it is.
